For me, it’s because it ended up being a demon like entity that doesn’t have a reason behind its toxicity to get fleshed out. Gave it the extra creep factor. At least with Killing Stalking, there was the whole deep dive into why their mental states were sooooooo messed up (that was a 5 star one for me).
tbh an entity, like a demon or something similar, is quite boring and uninteresting if it doesn't have a backstory or reason for its actions. When there's no background, it just makes me think the entity is a plain psychopath incapable of loving someone, they just seem unable to truly care about anyone and just want to play games. While I don't rlly care but I really prefer when the story gives a reasonable backstory, This way, I can understand the character's motivations and how they developed.
the mc is also a problem. They act like an npc bc their choices are so consistently foolish. Reading this story lowk confusing, The writing feels messy, like the author was too tired to focus. It's as though you keep falling asleep for a second and then suddenly waking up. the mc is lacking of inner monologue yk what im tryna say? it's badly written

i love fucked-up BL stories so much, but this one is lacking of details
