The ML assaulted the MC and also spent almost their whole life so far scenting the MC without his consent... why feel bad for a rapist.
Not to defend him but I'm pretty sure his sending isn't something he does voluntarily most of the time it's also usually the case in most BL's that I've seen that have that kind of trope it's usually not on purpose not saying he's a good guy or anything
ML literally said he's been doing it since the MC presented as an omega which means he was aware he was scenting the MC and chose to keep doing it instead of stop and either ask for the MCs opinion on him senting to "protect him from other alphas" or at least ask for consent to do it., re-read chapter 4 they have a conversation about it and its apparent that the ML knew what he was doing and juat kept doing it anyway. Not only does the MC not want to be sented now(or when they were kids) but the ML still does it and then goes on to assault the MC cuz suppressants dont work since the ML has been forcing scenting on him.

He quite literally presented when they were kids so when you're a kid you cannot control that and if you do you kind of like don't realize that it's bad to do it without asking someone first he did it with good intentions when he was a kid when he got older he should have stopped yes but I think you're reading the whole situation a bit wrong...
yeah I'm aware that as a kid he probably didn't know how to control it and before getting proper education he probably thought he was helping in some way but now that they're a lot older and he clearly should know better by now and listen to the fact that MC has expressed that it's something he doesn't want and hates that the ML keeps doing it, and no I'm not reading it wrong, what the ML is doing is fucked up and he's treating the MC like he owes him something when the current state the MC is in is the MLs fault. The ML is acting like a creep for some false sense of heroism at this point and continues to push the MCs boundaries as if they mean nothing.
