I may sound wrong since I'm not fluent in English considering how I know 5 languages including English.
Whenever they see age gap, they'll always throw "pedo" without evn knwing the actual situation. (￣ε(#￣)Σ

A pedophile is an adult who feels a sexual attraction toward children who have not reached puberty (usually under 13 years old). {The MC was never attracted to kids from the beginning, infact we saw how he was shock that his partner was a kid}
Example:
A 32-year-old man regularly tries to spend time alone with a 10-year-old boy from the neighborhood.
He gives the boy expensive gifts, tells him not to tell his parents about their meetings, and tries to make the child emotionally dependent on him.
