from the chapters so far what I got is, he got drugged. the drug is a new drug variant that still not widely regulated which have a severe side effect such as nerves damages making our mc has a severe photosensitivity to bright light + ptsd
Seems like the accident uke had, was severe enough he needs to get checked once in a while i bet it's got to do w the old main vocalist of his group, so he just "left" to avoid further controversy for the company (lawsuits, stocks plummeting) and cus uke is too kind to see nothing in that incident is his fault
