Why can't we just let the guy have a successful fighting career? Why does he have to shift his entire identity and have a baby? Even though he's a guy it just feels so misogynistic like "well it's SOMEONES job to have a baby in a relationship" I'm never a fan of mpreg arcs but this one's feels especially.... "ballerina farm" for lack of better comparison. Iykyk

Nooo don't say hes gonna pregnant and just completely halt his career??? Thats so shitty
And you are right it does feel mysogynystic, its silly but omegas being treated so lowly in omegaverses feels like a parody of how women are treated irl

Calm down, everyone. Like many women, the omega discovered he was pregnant and HE decided he wanted the child. In this universe, omegas need treatment to maintain the pregnancy, and if he wanted to go through with it, it's because the child was his choice, not something forced. Furthermore, there are side stories. Nothing prevents the omega from returning to training after the child is born and asking for a rematch against the guy who defeated him.

but ultimately it is the author choosing for that to happen. i think the critique is that the author is making the plot this way, no matter how its justified in the story.

I understand. Actually, I think this story should have lasted longer so that the final events felt less rushed, but perhaps it was a contractual obligation to end the main story in fewer chapters. Personally, I don't see a problem with taking a career break to have a child, as long as the person CHOOSES to do so and resumes their dreams afterward. I think it sends a message to mothers that they can be mothers and at the same time not give up on their dreams.
