Your wording is a bit confusing to readers, so just to clarify, MC and ML are not cousins, and they're not blood related.
From what I understand, (MC) Ichika's "father" (now, ex-dad) is a step-dad. Her real dad died long ago. He married her mom who inherited a fortune, but the guy had a side-woman and a real daughter, which is Ichika's step sister.
The ML shares a grandmother with MC's step-dad, so he's cousins with the step-sister, not FMC.

Guys I read ch 7 on the scans website, they’re cousins im pretty sure the ML said that he also hates the FLa dad but refered to him as uncle, and he has the same grandma as the FLS half sister
