Ah, the manhwa is making things a bit more.... less angry.

In the novel, ruth is avoiding Agnes bc she strongly dislikes him for escaping nornui. She shows it outwardly and does not hide it. He only talk ftf to her when he has too, so in this case, he was speaking up for maxi bc he knows that being a healer means work is never ending.
Ruth never asked for maxi for her herbs but maxi offered it as she explains to ruth that they hired an old mage and he taught her some stuff.
Hebaron was in a pissy mood bc he is in a whole lot of pain. When maxi entered, heb didn't see her, he was yelling at ruth to get in here and solve it. When he saw her, his face lit up but still in agony.
Garrow should have popped up by now.

So true! They are making Riftan into something he’s not in the Novel. At least in the novel they are stressing his point and it was all valid!

I remembered reading the webtoon first and I was so angry at Riftan for how the webtoon portrayed him to be but dang! The Novel was well written and you can see right through why Riftan is like that towards Maxi.

The manhwa doesn't display their personality well and at times, they go out if character. The novel does a wonderful job. One thing I'm kinda sad about is that the novel had sex and the manhwa opted out on it. I really wished it showed
