This is so real… a lot of the good art has bad plots, and bad plots doesn’t have the best art I always go back to reading dark heaven icl but I’d say why don’t you start reading novels for BL’s instead since there’s a lot more BL novels and book rather than yaoi

I've been there. My solution was to pivot to a completely different genre for a while. If bl no good, try het or gl for a bit to refresh your pallet.
I think ive finally reached my yaoi limit cus I cant find anything interesting. nothing rlly fits my taste and i feel like so many stories are the same plot and dynamic again and again. A lot of stories just revolve around wanting to have a certain trope than actually fleshing out relationships but I wanna read real luhhhhveeee
