ok but he's still faking it, at the very least. prediction was a semi-success. also, check my other comments replying to this one for my thoughts on it after my brain started working lol

I see. not sure which part of the game play youre refering to but he did lose his memories from the early game play because Seongchan removed and hid his tape. the memories he has in his new tape is from around ch7 onwards. So from there, the only things he knows from the early game play are from the memories that Yeongtaek, Seongchan, and Jeoseob recounted. He's just really smart to put things together so he has many theories which he confirms by experimenting on the other players like a psychopath that he is lol

I am referring to the most recent chapter (65), where doha is acting like he doesn't know who bada is; it implies to the audience that he has once again lost his memories, and has left bada waiting. I'm saying I'm on the fence about whether it's real or not, bc I can see the potential for both. idk, I gotta re-read the whole thing, honestly lol

ah i see. he didnt forget about bada, he's just deliberately avoiding revealing that he knows who Bada is and where he is. Most likely, he wants to prevent them from meeting. remember that doha always tends to lie by omission because (1) he doesnt want to reveal much info so he'll keep the upper hand on playing his cards right and (2) as much as possible prevent the currrent Bada from gathering too much information, knowing that Bada is smart and naturally inquisitive to start questioning things and could eventually rediscover that he's an NPC. that also why he's isolating Bada in the abandoned hut.

But based on his willingness to insert the tape in the previous chapter without really knowing if it belonged to Bada or not, I think he’s not entirely against Bada remembering he’s an NPC. It's just more that he doesnt want other people (Doha himself included) to reveal it again, bc he's unsure of how the current Bada would react. He’s leaving that role to the previous Bada who already knows and with whom he has a deeper bond.
