Ask. So many of life’s problems can be fixed if you just ask directly bouncing around subjects and trying to send hints will waste YEARS of your life!!!!! It’s not rude to just go “hey, you havent texted in a while, are you alright?”
Or “hey, are you still interested? You havent talked to me in a while… :(“ or something.

Honestly just initiate a convo anything, though i must advice if youre the one always initiating every convo maybe you should think abit more. Like srs dont let yourself get played
At first he usually was the one who text first, I think he knew I was very introverted and all
And I felt it wasn't right for him to always initiate the convo so I started to message first and eventually I finally felt like, maybe was more open up to him? I felt comfortable and all
But now he rarely text unless I text first that's why I didn't know what to doo

Okay so not much of a problem but probably give it abit of a break too, like u said dont need to text 24/7 so maybe they're just busy if they did that before and someone actually interested in you will find ways to talk to you and make the convo longer. If you're interested in him, flirt a little lol sometimes guys back away if they notice the girl is too friendly. (meaning they think its friendzoned) but yeah! And btw if the flirting or wtv gets abit too sexual, dont be afraid to set boundaries if ur uncomfortable. Also talk to ur friends abt it! Sometimes showing ur convo to ur friends, can help you out alot.

So like I started talking to someone this year
He is really really sweet
But he started not to text me frequently now
Like I don't need him to text me like 24/7
But at least some days would be great
It's been a week since he last texted, and he wouldn't even have texted me if his friend wouldn't have take his phone and send me a message herself

And we cant even see each other due to some reasons, plus we are not in the same school
