he'd have to know his own name to register the kid, though? he didnt even know his own surname at the time (so basically he was living undocumented atp) so what family would he register his kid as?
Surely there's some way or assistance he can have from the government? He'll have to be reported as missing as John Doe first though, which that "savior" of his probably didn't even do. I just keep imagining how much of a legal nightmare this is gonna be if that freak ever reports the child as missing.
I bet that may end up becoming an arc, saying his kid and partner was kidnapped and taken and report them missing when he dosnt want to go back.

It actually makes sense tbh. The baby would need to take frequent trips to the doctor. And to go she would need to be registered. It was mentioned prior that he didn't even want to remember he wanted a fresh start before the MC found him again.
