I’ll be honest, I haven’t read the novel for this one but yikes. I’ll remember to not chuck my phone.
I honestly want this to be live action drama because I grew up on soap opera and KTS has veryyyy soapy vibes. Evil ass in-laws who plotted to get you kicked out through an intense misunderstanding? Check. Marriage of convenience/forced marriage to get the property? Check. Secret child? Check. Childhood sweethearts who separated due to misunderstandings? Check. Orphan and poor main character? Check. Rich main lead who feels betrayed by love? Check. Hating each other but still being super into each other? Check. All the angst? Check.
I hated it but also loved it. It will make your blood boil but it servessss. Winston sucks in so many aspects but when he calls Yujin baby- RAHHHHH! And then you get little bit of flashbacks sprinkled throughout and it's so cute how they are each other's first love. But godddd, the slutshaming is so annoying.
