I feel like this is less offensive than some of the others I've seen, but it still screams blatant orientalism with how they do not commit to any particular culture but just the "vibe" of the Middle East/South Asia.
Also extremely funny how our ML encapsulates both poc fetishism and european beauty standards, like he's brown only in skintone, but his hair and eyes are a certain german artist's wet dream. I love the color contrast of the characters, but I'm tired of how common the "good person/purity = has white traits" equation is.
