I thought so too but manga drawing sometimes confuses me lol. But I still feel like the personality changed drastically. Maybe its because he doesnt want to accept he is falling in love. Or maybe I just read this wrong because of the time

I am so confused. I thought when kou got mad cause shinkbu was going to open the door was him being jelouse as in "im here now" like wasn't him trying to make the uke fall in love with him and forget his past love? And then when shinobu finally said I love you he looked hella happy and where toguether. Now suddenly he becomes this man where he himself says"hes just a toy ". Like it felt like the story is going backwards.
