Honestly spoilers are all in bad faith and biased as fuck they never done a good job conveying the emotions and psychological aspect of the characters… its only useful for ppl whos trying to avoid dark themes at all but more often than not i actually enjoy the story when the spoilers from like 30 chapters ago said that was the worst most disgusting storyline ever lol…

She died yrs before the story. I dont remember the exact details, so i honestly may be wrong but: wujin talked her into giving him company/her dads secrets or w/e. She did but she obv felt guilty, thus started drinking and getting into the car accident. When she realized how apathetic wujin was towards her (he only wanted to marry her bc of who her father was) she killed herself.

Lowkey sick of u ppl with 3rd hand info spreading misinformation. I read a mtl eng translation of the novel months ago. I will say i liked the story but its been a minute so take that as u will.
1. ML obviously struggles with empathy. He never purposefully intended to ruin taeshin or his fiance. When that party happened, he honestly thought taeshin liked it since he often says no when they have sex. He also couldnt comprehend how his fiance felt betraying her father. Both of them realized that and comitted suicide hoping to hurt him. For sure hes awful but he was never trying to kill them.
2. He def loves the mc in his own way. He goes to jail because the mc forced his hand. Mc was threatening to allow himself to be raped if the ml didnt confess to his crimes etc.
