I think they mentioned that keeping her was for a political marriage to some family to get more power and since they treasure their 2 other daughters, I think they wanted to use Arianna for the unwanted political marriage and the other 2 can marry nobles or into aristocracy.
I can kind of understand why she still thinks like this because you know how can this family who is showing me this much kindness not search for me when they actually did I think she needs to have a serious talk with all of them and try to figure out because the moment she hears that it was her mother who was behind the whole thing then yeah she's gonna understand but my question is like why does the mother if you hate your daughter so much why don't you give it to your ex-husband like what do you hate about your ex husband so much that you would use his own daughter against him this woman is I don't even know if you can call her evil I just think she's just crazy mentally deranged
