i wish this could be pinned to the top of this page bc like— ppl r arguing that this scene wasnt necessary? girl its an ongoing manhwa… NOTHING is necessary in a story by their metric on account of it being fiction. this story so far has been laced with toxicity, abuse, cheating, neglect, etc etc and mfs are expecting the author to magically be like “but let me make them nice and soft for this chapter owo” i just wish this site could age restrict 18+ shit so kids wouldnt cry about adult themes and imagery in adult content. the argument that including a rape scene in a romance story isnt necessary and therefore is bad writing just doesnt fucking apply here because we have had ZERO semblances of romance between mr “i cheated on my gf for my job (and maybe killed people too?)” and mr “punch me in the dick or else”

Yes! Bc you know this is not a romantic story, Incheol is doing this bc of his crazy job, to get what he wants, not bc he likes Pyeonghwa. People need to realize that they are not going to be romantic any time soon, they will both literally get what they need from each other, even if Incheol said that he wanted to have sex out loud we know he wouldn't have enjoyed it. Tbh as you said I don't think this was fully consensual obviously but this is definitely not like all the other cliché manhwas that use this plot device.
yall had ample time and foresight to drop a manhwa that clearly showed signs of dub-con. the fact stands that as much as you wanna say it’s rape the MC is strong, and does have a voice and could clearly have said to stop—or to back off physically—he literally pushed ML away to throw up, he isn’t unable to stop this. nonetheless, it doesn’t mean he gave full consent, that is explicitly why it’s a dub-con subjective. very, very dubious, but there were always signs it would lead to this and all those expecting otherwise of their first time, sorry to break it to you but expectations are the death of reality. the author chose this route for their first time, like it or hate it but don’t shit on it. the story isn’t terrible, the art is great, and arguably this sex scene isn’t as fucking annoyingly cliche as many others. it’s clear MC is gonna turn this around it isn’t going to go into mindless sex because that’s so what this manhwa hasn’t been. it’s been very dubious-tension-layered with sexual undertones but the fact their sex held off this long chapter wise shows the author isn’t mindlessly writing smut. anyway i’m done yapping, all ima end off saying is this shit was hot. i love the story, and its easy to unfollow and stop keeping up with it if you think otherwise.
