i REALLY REALLY REALLY need to know more about incheol's relationship w the congresswoman.......rereading chp 13 and his ex gf literally saying "you would kill yourself if she asked you to, wouldn't you?" and incheol going silent. like???? i refuse to believe his dedication towards rep lee is simply bc he wants to climb the political ladder for this ONE congress lady whose jurisdiction spans what? a city? a few cities? there's way more powerful options for doing that than becoming one of this lady's mindless zombie secretary boys in a gray suit.
also hyori (incheol's ex) calling him out that he only didn't break up w her bc rep lee introduced them - and incheol agreeing to the break up when hyori said she'll spin it so that the break up was her fault, so incheol doesn't look bad or ungrateful to rep lee - LIKE WHAT DID THIS WOMAN DO FOR U THAT UR WILLING TO THIS FAR UNC???? chp21 he's even thinking yeah i can get my ass torn for her its fine???? .......and i think pyeonghwa is both intrigued and PISSED by the notion that incheol is willing to go so far for someone...i think seeing incheol's loyalty towards rep lee annoys the hell out of him - alluding to possible abandonment issues? we didn't get much on pyeonghwa's parents, just know that they're gone, but it's evident that his relationships w ppl don't last long and he doesn't want them to run deep. chp13 while he's fking incheol's mouth asking "just how great is the person you're working for that you're willing to sell your body like this?" i really think he wants to break incheol in terms of how far old guy is willing to go to achieve his goals (which for all we know as of rn is being in rep lee's good side/inner circle??) like THERES GOTTA BE MORE TO THE STORY.
