Hes been a sadomasochist the ENTIRE time. Consent has been a thin line the entire time both for Pyeonghwa and Incheol. Even Incheol was just stomaching it until Pyeonghwa made him puke, and then he continued to keep going because hes triing to get something from him. Hes been trying to get something from him this entire time and is putting himself in violent and dangerous situations to do so. This isnt your average poorly written romanticized rape scene. This is Incheol putting himself through pain and danger to achieve a goal for someone hes afraid to disappoint. If anything this scene is almost entirely about Incheol and not really Pyeonghwa. He literally considered stolling because he doesn't want to do this, but pulls Pyeonghwa to him because he believes this is what he needs to go through to get to his goal.

tbf he's only really shown sadistic tendencies w incheol (mostly in chp 21 tho) and the whole marketing for this manhwa (at least from the translators) was a pretty maso top so i think thats where the disconnect has been happening. ppl thought incheol's services for pyeonghwa would be him beating pyeonghwa up, i.e. more consent. i just think ppl imagined their first time would be incheol taking charge and straying from the mainstream of bottoms suffering while the top enjoys, so to see the opposite happen was jarring and could be disappointing. and chp 21 is a step up from everything we've seen so far primarily bc we saw how hard it was for incheol, bro literally being fcked unconscious i love this manhwa btw i'm just having empathy for both sides bc i mean thats what a good story does, invoke emotions in ppl
