here's some nuance

it doesn't make people puritans or prudes for wanting explicit sexual content that doesn't feature rape and sexual assault. perhaps they simply want to see two or more people getting intimate and maybe even freaky because they're both into it, or, for whatever reason, at least willing to try! I don't think anyone who came into this with their brain active was expecting this to have a model healthy relationship. the back-and-forth, manipulation, and mind games are part of the appeal. I don't see how it follows that rape/SA necessarily will be a part of that.
recognizing what happened in ch 21 as rape shouldn't be controversial if you have a clear concept of what willing and active sexual participation looks like. I think it's worthwhile to make it clear when we're talking about it because not everybody does, no matter how old they are. its inclusion in this manhwa is a little disappointing because I'd like to see more sexually explicit, complex stories that don't rely on rape and sexual assault to deliver on sexual content and character conflict in cookie-cutter, regressive ways, but I'm willing to see where the creator goes with this because so far this manhwa's approach to storytelling and the story itself haven't been formulaic or stereotypical. so I'm personally going to stick around to see how this plays out. that said, I wish prep and proper lube would have featured more here because butthole injuries are not fun.
