Hayden is really drawing the line ... Scott will probably say something that will soften him, but what would he say after 2 years... If it's something important and he only deigns saying it 2 years after, everyone will be pissed at Scott again.
Hayden said he loves him but he can't and won't try again and Brett isn't inclined at all to be emotionally vulnerable to Hayden. If anything, Brett isn't amused or smiling anymore, he looks pissed and bitter (even if he subtly manipulated the rut invitation + how he acted as if he was asleep). It's like Brett's brain never stops for a moment.
What will Scott tell seriously ... And please we want Brett's rut next chapter, not the one after (the hiatus ......)
Tbh scott is not my likable character here he hates brett so I don't like him hope he doesn't say anything bad again that Could worse situation between hayden and brett and I know Hayden has soft spots for omegas what if he doesn't go to rut of brett cuz of that brett lose his shit again or finally decide to give Hayden cold shoulders cuz this chapter it feels like a last bait brett is giving Hayden for improving their relationship if he mess up again over talking what scott told him I won't like Hayden for that..... I mean Hayden didn't treat brett right enough in a while and I feel bad for brett.
This story is overall a great one, but I was never too comfortable on how the author handled Scott’s affair with the exchange student (forgot his name right now). It all seemed so one sided, going so far as to exchange student straight up telling him I never thought of you like that then next time they meet he’s trying to apologize and Scott was all like “This is how you know” or something like that (my memory is hazy) and you don’t see them have sex but when Scott announces his pregnancy he’s one of the potential fathers. Anyway, all this to say that Scott mentions an “Angela” who’d “just went to sleep”. I’m assuming that’s his baby? Scott strikes me as the type that would have a baby thinking and hoping it will make his life better. From the little glimpse we saw, it seems like it might have worked for him, so even though he’s not a Brett fan, I’m sure he knows what went down between them and how it’s affected Hayden all this time, so he might not diss Brett because this isn’t about him or Brett, it’s all about Hayden.
Tbh scott affair played well he is like those guys(in real life girls) who gets influenced badly by drugs and all never get a good family environment you can say why scott choose that korean guy over martin (who is drug addict) cuz that guy is just like Hayden I feel he never moved on from Hayden and wanted a guy like Hayden so bad even wanted a guy like him to be father of his child and he hated how brett used him to get Hayden eventually Hayden confronted scott that I m not the type of guy you think , I m sure he wouldn't bad mouth brett at any cost but what if he does he never liked brett and even in season 2 scott was spreading his pheromones for Hayden (which brett sensed but Hayden didn't cuz he was bonded with brett) .... Scott never thinks brett is good partner for Hayden so i think he would tell something negative about brett but gotta wait for next chapter what he will tell him.
After drunk talk of Hayden , they slept side by side in morning Hayden trying to touch sleeping brett face only to stop himself, brett was awake then he was leaving without even saying anything but brett stopped Hayden by saying "you are leaving without eating breakfast" Hayden didn't respond , brett told Hayden that " my rut is next week you told me 2 years ago that when my rut comes i should tell you so I m keeping promise without forgetting it comes to me " Hayden left and talking to that pedo victim dude about how actors life shape up by making a life they live it's confusing part but it's related to life and acting scene of them, next scene Hayden talking to scott in video call told scott that brett is in new york and Scott told Hayden "i haven't heard this name in so long" scott about to tell Hayden something but chapter ended.
Honestly I feel Hayden isn't ready to open his heart again for brett and brett trying open up now keeping his promise Hayden is doing his own level of brett has redemption arc. But my brett is baby girl so i forgive him for everything I feel bad for none they needs to compromise some thing like their rigit stubbornness of walls which Hayden created and brett who broke his wall for Hayden and letting him in we might get to see brett in rut next chapter I m excited !!!! I wonder how brett would look in rur
