My thoughts exactly. When he was going into the whole "I was a breath away this whole time" part, I'm sitting here thinking... but just cuz you're right there doesn't mean he knows how you feel! He stays professional as a secretary and the rest of the time acts like his friend so how would the man know you had feelings like this when you never made any advancements or hinted or told him anything over all the years y'all been together.
I know blondie has had his issues and mess ups, but he can't be completely to blame for fully not knowing how the secretary has felt this whole time.
