The only thing I can think of rn is he loves both of them whether romantic for Gwonryeom or not and although fucked up he's the type to enjoy their happiness for his happiness or he's bullshitting about bringing back Seoho for Gwonryeom when really he's just trying to get Seoho back for himself
But what does Muyeol even gain from doing all of this?? He claims he’s doing it to make Gwonryeom happy and to reunite him with Seoho but Gwonryeom doesn’t even want Seoho anymore. He’s literally happy with Min-chan.
There’s no way Muyeol was planning all of this for centuries just to make someone else happy?! From the flashbacks it seemed like Muyeol was more in love with Seoho than he showed.
