But you both were within reach so why are u only blaming the blondie? You yourself never did anything to progress your relationship I understand it's hard that when the person u love is in love with someone else but the mc have already rejected him and I don't think blondie did anything wrong I mean how would he just suddenly know that his best friend has a crush on him it's not like he can read minds... You gotta tell him first to understand

I remember Jooan saying that Seojoon might as well love him for doing the extra mile for him. So Jooan is capable of knowing Seojoon is not an ordinary secretary and might not even a normal best friend, but cho... pennyinheaven

I'm not gonna lie, there is a very thin line between things people would do with their best friend and things people would do for their lover/someone that they're in love with.

I also tend to be dense to certain actions from people unless they straight up ask me for my number/confess to me, so that's why I think that the commenters here are being a little unreasonable when they say Jooan should've realised by now, because "obviously a secretary wouldnt be doing all of this" but I know, me personally, I'd probably think of a lot of Seojoon's actions as friendly not like a romantic thing (I am very dense to romance) unless he straught up spoke his intentions

Yes, and we're that both are at fault, not just Jooan. The comments we are calling out are the comments that have continuously crucified Jooan and acted like Seojoon is the only victim here Itzz_A_Trap

Idk, I think most readers know they both have a fault in this. But at this point, rather the last two chapters, Jooan is still saying the wrong things. After everything he experienced, the withdrawals and all, he still does not know what he's feeling and still wanting SJ to come back as his secretary.

Even if I remove the romance part and just Jooan chasing his secretary/employee, he still has not figured that SJ is feeling underappreciated.
"I'll increase your salary. I'll give bonuses etc." But the boss never recognizing he treated his employee no more than an animal - no respect, no please, no thank you, no consideration for time etc.

I don't think SJ expects Jooan to directly reciprocate his feelings, as in romantically but at the least recognize he's extra special.
