I came back just to say that Na haesoo or the author wrote her to be so male dependent and male centered. Her worth is always tied to the men around her. From her father, cheating ex husband, and now to this young guy. Like without the men around her, who is she truly? She gets pulled along because she has no clear identity (trauma, self esteem issue, long term survival mode etc) like I get it, But where’s the character development? It’s frustrating to watch her character because we’re all rooting for her but bro always disappoints. Ugh.

I hate female characters like this don't ever get me wrong but realistically in many countries, being a woman in lower class means the quickest way out of poverty was attracting a well off men or a man with lots of promise, And with all the trauma shes gone through it I feel like if she has been exposed to any genuine female freindship growing up she wouldnt be the way she is but thats the case for lots of quote of qoute timid pretty women,
