the whole point of a fictional concept is for people to build off it and explore different ideas that we don't see in real life. if people want to defend a character and be serious about something that's happened in a story and make theories off of I don't think that makes the character seem shittier it just means you have conflicting opinions. let people enjoy stories like this, we have enough normal ass stories. betas are just regular people read something else if you want that.

What does this have to do with my point? You missed the point entirely and derailed to nothing relevant to my post. No where did I said anything to get to these points: “let people enjoy stories like this”, “normal stories” “enjoy something else if you want that”.

The issue is that people are rooting for a side and making the story not enjoyable for others. Or creating out of no where arguments that no one even mention. It’s attention grabbing. By the end of the day, this is an omegaverse. These are characters being placed in said universe. People are creating plot points that are not relevant to story but what they can relate to in real life.

People can have their own opinions though? Are you saying we cannot create a space of discussion because everyone has to have the same opinion? So no one can comment and say I hate this story because they have to consider the group that likes it and just silence themselves?
People can like the story or the characters. They are entitled to write a 50 page essay on defending the character and I have every right to say “that’s fucking stupid and makes no sense”.
If you have to write a whole wall of text to defend a character, it makes that character come off even more shittier.
By the end of the day, this is an omegaverse. Omegaverse is straight up a stupid concept wise. Whenever there’s something “serious” being created in this universe, it’s fucking hilarious. If you had to explain this shit to someone in real life and have to talk about binding being on the nape, pheromones, omegas go through heat through their butts, alphas knot like dogs, pretty sure they’ll just stare at you, concerned.
