In Poland guests take their shoes off. Occassionaly not (eg. We have a tiny house and all the girls who visited wore heels, it would be too much bother, but if sb visits for longer and is a family, we do always take shoes off.) The shoes are staying on only in movies LOL
Im living in the US now but since i was born and raised in Germany and there is family in Italy and East Europe i can tell you that it is pretty common that we leave ur shoes on in this places. Just when i went to my uncle in Spain i took the shoes off but they had carpet
In America it's kinda mixed, usually people with wood floors/better/more expensive houses and such take off there shoes, (my house does but of dirt and such that we don't want on the hardwood floors) but people are cared usually people with crappy or dirty homes wear shoes, but again it define try varies from home to home.
Sorry for the pong anewer about shoe customs in America( remember that I am not religious and I'm jot a "culture" except for white.... so my opinion is my opinion and can be different for anyone.)

I feel sad bad for Komiya since he went through A LOT as a seme and I'm hella surprised too since it's usually the uke that goes through that. I also have a question for all the Europeans out there since I'm curious. I've never heard that us Europeans are known to wear shoes inside the house at least not I'm my country or at the places around it and I was just wondering which places have this thing that allows shoes inside the house??
