The way some of y’all are acting like doctors. Amnesia can be triggered by traumatic events, yes, but the fact he’s suddenly gaining back his old memories and suppressing his current ones just do not make sense to me personally.. . There’s about 4 types of amnesia and it seems like he was presenting retrograde amnesia, dissociative amnesia and now TGA??? idk maybe it’s stress induced? But reverting back to being a complete jerk to your partner when you seem to remember the good dick he gave you just doesn’t make me feel like it answers things for me..

If there's something I learned, it's to suspend my disbelief in the portrayal of amnesia in any fiction. They always just call it 'amnesia' without specifying the type. It's barely based in reality, more of a fictional trope to amp up drama.

If something doesn’t make sense in fiction, it’s cause you’re using too much brain power and real life logic. You need to go in with 0 brain power and 0 expectations and you’ll find it’s better than you expected. Everything is the bee movie in that they don’t care about the reality of what a story SHOULD entail and instead do whatever gets the plot going forward (or backwards) in the way they want.
