Never watched the second one. But BE is peak.
yesss Beyond Evil is so good. there's some similarities in BE and blackout as in the mc is accused of killing girls (in this story he's already spent 10 years in jail as he was found guilty), tries to find out the truth alongside a detective who seems cold at first but eventually grows to care for the mc and vice versa. everyone in his town seems to hate him though, which is completely different from how everyone was trying to protect dongsik in BE. it's definitely a bit more depressing than BE because the mc barely has anyone who cares for him since no one believes he didn't kill the girls, but if you enjoy emotional whump watch itttt. i watched it for the relationship between the detective and the mc mainly tbh lol.
another peak show i enjoyed was The Guest, the relationship between the main 3 characters was really nice to watch grow. this one is supernatural tho, not murder mystery like the other two above
If you enjoyed Guest I recommend you Mouse. IT is reallyyyyy good but gore theme though. And I just searched up the second one. Thank you for the name. It definitely is my cup of tea Gonna watch it very soon.
