basically it all boils down to how ashley (their alpha father) brought up their kids. ashley spent special attention to grayson bc he thought he would be like their grandfather (the origin of their pretty fucked gene/trait) grayson can't feel emotion (according to ashley) or rather he doesn't know how to read them so whenever he tries to help someone, he unintentionally hurts them or makes it worse bc he doesn't know how to read them. aka his infamous way of traumatizing chase by saying he did it with a dog was his way of saying "hey, don't let your pheromones build up. join the orgy parties and release them. if you won’t, you'll break your mind you would even do it with a dog!" and the incest comment was basically him saying "well, what can i do? if i need to release pheromones and no one is available but my siblings, why not? i might die if i dont do it, right? so why wont they help?" so yeah he's very very fucked up in the head. dane basically helps him understand his own feeling and other people's feelings. he started to consider what dane would dane do if he was in the same situation or what would he feel about something, like a reference. in the end, grayson literally flies around the world to apologize to every single person he did wrong. he also tries to apologize to chase for traumatizing him but chase of course does not easily accept the apology. very understandable.

noooo TT^TT he didn't. grayson was just saying shit to scare chase so he would release his pheromones the conventional way (aka the orgy parties). that one time chase blacked out from pheromone build up, he was actually with joshua and made pete! lol
yeah, he has some mental problems, i think. can't feel or understand human emotions. it comes to a point where dane questions whether grayson was abused growing up, resulting to him acting like that. but grayson denies it although his actions say otherwise
