I especially love the fact that Enid wasn’t the one chosen by the Dragons Blood. It’s that “Our love has nothing to do with fate, it’s much stronger. I’d choose you over anyone and anything, even above every instinct in my body.” trope I LOVE and crave. Sometimes in omegaverse this aspect of fated mates makes the love feel a bit less genuine, in the sense that I can’t help but wonder if the characters aren’t just lead by their biology to some extent iykwim… Sometimes they touch up on that subject but it’s not always satisfying. It also reminds me of the side chapters of ‘Midnight Dwellers’ as the ml tells the mc that their love relies solely upon their efforts and the strength it took to stay together, and not mere fate. Anyway let me stop my rambling, I can’t wait for this final stuggle arc to end and for many many many side stories to come!
