Gray honestly isn't any better than abel but at the very least hardy seems to be able to draw a clear line with him. In future chapters as the hardy tries to get more independent the more possessive he gets, raping him, attempting to forcibly impregnate him, even when Hardy himself said all this is hurting him and it felt like he was going to die he said it would be better if he died, then he wouldn't have to worry about Hardy running off somehwere else.. (all cause of some light teasing and abel realizing hardy might actually be better than him at magic) and I haven't even touched on the fact that Abel planned to turn hardy into an omega from the very beginning and imprint on him. Literally coercing the doctor into telling hardy the red tonjcs he takes is just so he could "keep up" NOPE those are illegal drugs and changed hardys constitution FOREVERR LIKE HELLOO?? this and everyone around hardy literally gaslights him into staying cause of his mommy issues

I read the raws and gray is completely innocent, well ig not **completely** but the mc just collapsed due to exhaustion caused by overwork/studying and not getting enough sleep and Abel fucking him in his sleep EVERY night. Gray just took him to the magic tower so he can get treatment when he found him collapsed and when he got better the mc went back to Abel.. but gray does want to try to separate the mc from Abel, also it was odd how he tried to mess with his treatment but I'm lowkey with gray I DONT like abel..
