Amnesia arc

The author said season three was when Heeryang goes through it with his regret so shall we place bets on if Yeonjo almost dies (flashback to water scene with blood) and instead loses his memory?

Because the soul is tied to memory, not the flesh, and we know Heeryang values what makes Yeonjo HIMSELF far more than his vessel.

(And clearly author is dead set on not granting Yeonjo the sweet release of death, so this is my next best guess~)

I really want to know what is going to happen to make heeryang suffer even more than when he thought yeonjo was dead. I think the amnesia route would be too similar to first season's events without yeonjo secretly plotting. I really don't know what could be worse than death or almost as bad as death without dying... Maybe yeonjo will lose a limb because of heeryang's fault or sumn?

No, he would probably prefer him to be severely crippled. If Yeonjo showed up a bilateral amputee he’d think “now he really can’t leave me.” If you remember a couple chapters ago he basically said “I tried so hard to make him not hate me but now I’ll take even that.”

And I truly would be inclined to think it’s another death scene only this time ML would be present to witness and misunderstand on his own, but highly doubt with how planned this plot seems to be that the author would double down on a used trope.

So here’s hoping they give us a real razzle dazzle, because if they can’t bring the character development and suffering (for both) full circle, it’ll be a tough land for the finale.

I mean good point but also, we saw how he reacted when he noticed yeonjo's foot injury... Like maybe he put yeonjo in a really dangerous situation and made him lose a limb? Idk that sounds awful for yeonjo so here's to hoping its not that tho lmao and also thinking about it it's a little too simple of a plot

Well... It's been 100 chapters of peak it's safe to say I trust the authors with whatever route they decide to take but man I'm IMPATIENTLY dying to know
