I get the “make them gay via unconsensual sex” part being… tasteless trash but there’s nothing wrong with a dude having ex girlfriends and then getting a boyfriend for the first time. Doesn’t mean they “turned” gay, they just hadn’t thought of the possibility of liking men yet. Vice versa too, a gal having ex boyfriends and ending up with a girlfriend.

I understand your concern though. A lot of these BL writers are actually some of the most anti-gay people you'll find, all they use are harmful and violent ideas. So obvious they don't see gay people as anything other than a taboo fantasy.

Nothing about our conversation is confusing... they formed an opinion on the manwha that I felt wasn't accurate to whats happened (which I tried to suggest otherwise that Kendrick may have already liked men, albeit maybe I misread his feelings towards A)

From that opinion I engaged with them about how authors do stuff like that and I agree it can be nasty, but it might not necessarily apply to this manwha. I REALLY don't understand what's confusing about that? Conversations go on tangents anywhere on the internet. If youre not interested in what were discussing just don't comment??
