I think an AirTag is still pretty big for most smaller breeds of animals like rabbits and cats and small dogs. It would be really uncomfortable for them. But I’m glad that’s an option for the bigger breeds! I think it’s important to make sure you take all safety precautions to make sure your beloved pet doesn’t get hurt! Thanks for letting me know!

I’ve honestly thought a lot about it and it would be soooooo useful if they could create something that small for pets (not humans). They do have tracking collars but those are thick and bulky and I bet very heavy so I don’t think most pets could use it. I do hope they eventually make something that small but I also hope people like ML don’t get their hands on it. It’s one thing to put it into a pet who can be harmed outside and lost (especially domesticated animals) but an entirely other thing to put it into a human with free will of movement. I do understand his concerns and his fears and insecurities because MC did run off and disappear while pregnant but I think that’s something you discuss and let your partner know. It just takes a simple “I’m still really concerned whenever you don’t reply fast enough and coming home to a completely empty house reminded me of when you disappeared and that terrified me. Please can we set up something so that I can feel assured that you won’t just up and disappear? It’s not that I don’t trust you not to, but I’m still scared of the possibility.” BTW the car tracker won’t do jack shit if he’s walking somewhere and forgets his phone.
