This “redemption arc” is the same one as bj alex and it’s still bad. I wonder if the author even knows any other way of making a character change that isn’t the bad guy getting sick, being helped by the bottom, realizing they actually love him and suddenly being caring and loving. I found it lazy and bad writing in bj alex and I do in this too
