Most of us are hating on Taegu right now but I still have something to believe in him. Remember, I don’t like him. I don’t think(not even once agree with those who think that)that Taegu is better than Seoin.
I reread the q&a and the author said Taegu plays quite an important role in the storyline. We aren’t sure what kind of role he’s playing, bad or good role. Is his role important because he’s the one who makes what we see in ch1 happen? Or is his role important because he will be a helpful character in falling action structure of the story?
Even if he’s playing a good/helpful character, his action then and now won’t be excused. He’s a character that has flaws, and plays an important role. Regardless of how much he helps in the falling action, he’s still a bad character who force himself on Yeongwoon.
And, I believe that he won’t be able to go further than forcefully kissing Yeongwoon.
Taegu saw Yeongwoon cry once for him, and being also shining and smiling around him, so I believe that if he see something from Yeongwoon that he has never seen or think Yeongwoon wouldn’t show that to him such terrified, fear or disgust look, and Yeongwoon raise his voice a bit more just like when he shouted at Taegu in ch52, maybe Taegu will snap back to his senses.
I will believe this until the next and next chapter but I will make sure to believe in him too much so I won’t feel bad for believing in him.
I don't think taegu will go past the kissing but I still wouldn't put it past him. Yw has relied on him and it's genuinely disappointing. A good person would have just let yw live and avail himself when needed. All this is some weird shit yw never wanted. ATP taegu thinks he's right. I hope he realises just how wrong he's been all this time. Just cz he has feelings doesn't mean feelings are always valid. Never be a slave to your feelings that you don't see reason. The fact is that yw doesn't like him and yw is gonna cut him off. I won't be shocked if we find out he's drunk given that he's wearing mismatched socks but still that ain't a valid reason to do this. It's absolute betrayal of trust. How can yw even trust to be in the same room with him without feeling like he'll get assaulted by him?

I've reread the chapter and found another reason to be mad when people compare seoin to taegu. In the end of season one when seoin sees the depression med bottles his anger towards yw instantly dies. He realises very quickly that yw in those ten years wasn't doing well and feels sad that he really doesn't know anything. He asks and when yw doesn't want to answer he drops it and takes him to the hospital to get a new prescription. That was such a sweet moment of realization that it wasn't just him who had a hard time apart from yw.
Then you have taegu who sees yw having a mental breakdown and has taken prescription pills with alcohol and instead of taking him to the hospital to get that shit removed cz people actually die from the shit, he shouts at him reprimanding him for his valid feelings then kisses him. A very unsolicited kiss mind you. The kiss was just about his feelings.Lord this shit just pissed me off when I realised it. Like who thinks like that to kiss someone when they're crying about how hard their life is. It's not romantic at all. It's tone deaf. Read the room mf!!!
Taegu likes a dependent yw. A yw that can't stand on his own without him. He hates what seoin's presence in yw's life represents, and that's the ability to change. Seoin was the first person to ever make yw aware that it's okay to feel shit about your situation and want change. No wonder his absence just caused a mental spiral that lasted years. Ironically the memories of seoin also kept yw going.
That brick that seoin threw at taegu should have landed
