The issue isn't that, the issue is literally the words Suzuki said right before it happened to Sugiki, the Manga is still good and they ended up together so who cares, but it doesn't mean what he did isn't shitty and doesn't make sense as to why he would do it to begin with.
The movie might not be as good as the manga but at least it removed a lot of the problematic stuff this Manga had, including something that does count as cheating even if they were never together.
It's like you are going on a few dates with someone, you two aren't official but things are getting REALLY serious, then you discover your almost boyfriend slept with someone while going out with you.
It's still shitty and wrong, even if you two aren't officially dating.
People aren't overreacting, they are saying the truth/what's right, you shouldn't do this.
And I read that, I know it.
But right before that he EXPLICITLY said "I won't sleep with other guys" so even if not dating the relationship was serious enough to NOT be doing that, he promised and what do they show us next?
Him after having slept with another guy.
The fact that he made to promise to not sleep with other men means the relationship even if not dating was serious enough to NOT sleep around/he shouldn't be doing that.
It's not like I'm pulling that out of nowhere, it's literally written there, so by definition I should take the "I won't sleep with other guys" seriously given it's literally a promise he made, not just a white lie.
Exactly, if someone defend this behavior there is no way they aren't fin with cheating or being with someone who's cheating on their partner, it's so disgusting how they defend this behavior just because they aren't together.
They clearly aren't nothing either if he had to make such promise.
It would be like going steadily to a date with someone, maybe you two are at you two had 20 or who knows how many dates, things are clearly serious even if not official, then you discover your date has been having sex with others while going on dates with you, that's disgusting and disrespectful, this is the same identical thing.
It's even worse because he actually promised him.
I wish that chapter would just disappear from this Manga, but it exist and they still got together as far as I've seen so it is what it is, but I expect Suzuki to tell him the truth and beg for forgiveness until the day he's a old man because he broke his trust, that's disgusting.
I swear I don't get how people can't understand that a relationship can be serious and exclusive even when not together.
It's one thing if he didn't promise and didn't feel anything to him, he didn't owe him exclusivity in that case, but he did promise, they did get to a point where their relationship was clearly on the exclusive side even if not together.
Exactly.
The movie might be a bit rushed at the end and all, but I think compared to the original it is an improvement because it actually removed a lot of problematic stuff from the Manga and this cheating part (although people deny it's cheating just because they weren't dating, despite being serious enough to be exclusive/promise monogamy)
The slowburn and the passion/sexual tension between them was so good and then there's chapter 28 which is just disgusting.
I don't even remember if Suzuki came clean about it to Sugiki but I sure hope he did or it will be shown later on, I dropped it at chapter 28 the first time I read it, found out about the Netflix movie and decided to give it a try because I still liked the Manga/story, then decided to go back to the Manga but I don't have the same interest as I did.
I always hate Mangas with cheating, even if the two aren't together, it always, ALWAYS happen when the two are clearly in a scenario in which their relationship is exclusive even if still not together.
Why add such things for shock value when it just ruin everything and make the character bad?
Suzuki was way cuter/adorable in the movie as well, he was so sweet there compared to this version, I mean, he does start really sweet and clingy to Sugiki which is why the fact he slept with another man before Sugiki and even smiled so sweetly at Norman words is just so disgusting.
It felt like he was in love with him despite he literally spent all the time in the Manga clinging to him, I go back to read and apparently Suzuki (I think I saw him but I don't know) and Sugiki were in some guy bed with other naked people and apparently sex orgy happened but I can't understand what exactly happened, if that was Suzuki and if Suzuki and Sugiki had sex or if Sugiki had sex with someone else (and I don't think people who got technically cheated on should cheat but in this case if he did sleep with someone else I would say, good for him, Suzuki should get a taste of his own medicine) who did what with who, it feels like the story got worst from chapter 28 and onward.
I will try to read it again to understand better what's happening although it just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to keep reading this, the story is literally losing itself and it's destroying all the build up from the previous chapters, I feel like if I keep reading this and this keeps getting updated eventually they will end up just taking part in orgies rather than actually becoming a couple, given apparently Sugiki did take part in one and another creepy old man was watching.
The feeling I get from this is like that disgusting rape fantasy Anime about idols or something, I thought it would be a cool Anime bl about idols but it clearly wasn't that.
10 Dance now just gives me the same impression as that idol rape anime.
That was literally the Boku no Pico of 2025 or whatever year it came out.
Also I want to make clear that I DON'T think cheating is worse than rape, far from it.
I phrased it wrong and I realized it only now and now I feel so bad about it because it came out really bad.
What I meant with them giving me the same vibes is that they both make me feel uncomfortable and disgusted, not that they are equal in severity of actions.
No, but you surely are chronically online and probably a cheater yourself given how obsessed you are with yelling and insulting me because I read the Manga and didn't twist the ACTUAL MATERIAL to fit my agenda of "cheating is fine because they weren't together" despite Suzuki promised to be exclusive which can only be seen as one thing, they aren't dating but are clearly exclusive because of that phrase alone.

I don't feel anything about Suzuki and norman. Y'all are children
