I reread those chapters; I agree they go with the idea of bringing everyone back but I think the mangaka may have had the same opinion as you towards the ending and I def think the manga ending may be more satisfying. There's wayy too many changes otherwise
nah fr, I think that the fact that they really built it up a little bit more here in the manga makes me think that the ending might actually be excuted pretty well
I feel like a bit changed from the light novel from what I remember. But damn this shit is soo damn good.

But Everything is mostly the same plot-wise so I think they're gonna go with the same "everyone is here" ahh ending fr.
I didn't really like how that was done in the novel but oh well, excited to see all the characters again anyways
