I genuinely believe it has something to do with culture cause i feel like in western standards this would be weird and considered rude if the blame was on the teacher, japan could be very strict when it comes to their students i think this would be normal back on their days…
Its not unrealistic, just a different culture, and its not just japan, even in south east asia.
Maybe it's just Japan because I'm south east Asian and the teachers were never like this they didn't gaf at all
Back on my parents days teachers would cut students hair if they didnt follow the ordinary hairstyle they wanted and hitting students were allowed i think
I'm also South East Asian but the teachers really did involve in almost everything
So they want the teachers to be responsible for students outside of working hours??? I'm sorry once I clock out I am officially a normal citizen without a job. Did the parents want the teacher to do background checks on every other person their students interact with? This shit is so unrealistic
