when i finish a manhwa and i just go feral clicking every tag i can possibly apply, you know i thoroughly enjoyed it. this was such an enjoyable read, like genuinely everything i could have ever wanted.
i love high school life, i love shonen ai, and i love romances where the main character doesn’t immediately know that he’s gay, because it makes the feelings build in a way that feels more natural and real. the art was also perfect for me. it’s that super comforting, classic korean manhwa style, and i loved that it was in color. the palette was really pretty, the characters were drawn so well, and you end up liking basically everyone.
the premise was actually interesting too. he can see things through his dreams, nobody takes him seriously, and then he meets this guy through those dreams and they end up being genuinely perfect together. and that ending where he’s like “even if i didn’t have my dreams, we probably would’ve ended up together anyway”??? painfully cute. truly heartwarming. i loved every second of it.
my only complaint is that i desperately wish there were side stories, especially for the second couple. i know they like each other and i know they’re going to end up together, but i wanted to actually see it happen, plus a little more closure and fluff. not because the main story needs it to be good or anything, i’m just selfish and i love these characters too much to let them go :,(
even the people who felt like “villains” at first ended up being cute by the end, and honestly that is the perfect word for this whole story: cute.
