by far what im getting is that amon fell inlove with na in ages ago in his past life but he died tragically (idk might also be related to serpents) so amon resurrected him and also made him god (?) and then made a deal with the high priests to keep wiping his memories (probably because na in is so depressed and keeps being suicidal, likely because of the tragedy in his past life hence his aversion to violence)
