Yes, I think it’s because “Asel” felt like an Arabic name to me, since I’m Arab.

Btw I think his name is Asher. Since his name has something to do with christianity, I googled 아셀 기독교 and the search results are mostly about Asher, one of Jacob's 12 sons. I'm not christian tho so... That's just from what I googled.
