Yeah, I mean, he was obsessing over ML for the longest time, even longer than most readers would assume at 1st. If he was disruptive ML would def realize it sooner instead of starting to notice stuff after long years. Other borderline creepy but romantic things MC did were exposed after they got together already so ML was ok with that lol Anyway I love obsessive and stalkerish bottoms so Idc how much of a weirdo MC is, but Imo readers shouldn't blame ML for being cold and testing MC since he WAS suspicious all along
You know to be honest I never thought of Chen Wan as a stalker I was simply so blinded by supporting him that it literally just never crossed my mind but rn you made me realize for the first time that he is indeed a stalker
And that's how you recognize good writing lol The author made him so sympathetic that readers just go along with whatever he does and cheer on him. When I was reading the novel I caught myself many times thinking 'Chen Wan you're loml but it's kind of creepy' especially at later parts where some other things from the past get revealed.
Yea you’re totally right the author wrote him in a way that would make him seem like a literal angel even when his actions are the complete opposite I feel like I got deceived
Well, he's def not an angel He has many issues, past trauma, his love is so intense it's almost morbid when you get deeper into his thoughts, and he barely contains his aggressive tendencies at times. He's only hiding his claws with his love and idol ZSG.

Nah cus same, tell me why every time he does something for the ml, the first thing I think of is "Aww he's so devoted". Not once did I think his behavior was pretty much what a stalker would do, I am so cooked
I enjoyed the original novel so much, it's one of my fav pairs and I love both MC and ML. That being said, let's not forget that MC is a literal stalker. Personally I consider it as a part of his charm lol Especially since he is selfless and does everything to not disrupt ML's life, but it doesn't change the fact that he's very obsessive and did many others stalker-ish things through the years.
