I didn’t know those shared the same author, but wow does that connect all the dots. An author that trivializes women’s suffering for romance is just a terrible writer. Edna deserves freedom away from this horrible marriage. I freaking hate this series of events

if he can be the devoted loving husband now, where was that when he could’ve supported her during her *spoilers* pregnancy, miscarriage, mental breakdown, etc although, this is the same author as ‘cry or better yet beg’ so i don’t expect much. that author thinks a women’s suffering is trivial and only uses it to build drama for the final couple to be together as if they “triumphed” over something great and difficult, when it was the the fl suffering endlessly over and over again, inflicted by the ML mind you…
