Hmn, the mc seems really naive to the real world. Like at a certain point, especially at the age he is, you have to realize advertisment isn't some grand thing. It's purpose is to spread awarness to a product in the best way that attracts a consumer. It doesn't matter how companies feel or how costumers will precieve other companies, it only matters about if the ad attracted the costumer to buy the product. People forget that companies compete with each other. It is a competive field. While, it is nice to find allyship—with those you can rally with, they will naturally make their own campaign. Something like this isn't as serious to companies who want to partner with your company, as they are not as petty as they appear. They understand the tatics use and will use them at some point in their companies career, that is why it isn't up to your company to well—care. I agree with the ML in many ways, it is realistic, and he throws away emotions, logically finding the best way to get the job done. I prefer professionalism over feelings, and it seems to me the mc just can't do that.
