I think he knows, or at least suspects something, especially after the electrodes or whatever they're called that Kang had for his knee.
He's a little vague about it, but as far I remember (just finished my reread), Muhyeok was slowly getting suspicious of sergeant Kang being colonel Kang during season 1 & he mentioned that he was tryna figure something out (Kang's identity) back when he was having Kang move into his place
Idk why but the thought of him flirting and hugging another guy while not knowing that it’s him is so annoying to me
