It was his right that held dan's hand no? And he punched with his right hand.. So.. Isn't that what happened? But tbh, the main issue was how short they made the fight last. Like, it was only a few panels . Gabriel is a tough opponent, yet they made the match look so easy.

And no I totally agree with you. My full expectations were that the fight is would be mostly even, maybe with Gabriel gaining an advantage, then thats when the good luck hand squeeze "magic" happens but... nah he was gone fast.
I was hoping that hand squeeze (and sparkle( was gonna lead to Jk getting the winning blow with that hand as a fun "new jinx/good luck charm"
But nope
