omg yes, it's shocking how so many bl stories handle abuse like that so insensitivly; the idea of an abuser and rapist just realizing they've been in the wrong, apologizing and never doing it again is ludicrous
as somebody who grew up reading yaoi, it's genuinely worrying how many young girls can so easily look past all the horrendous stuff abusive characters like jaekyoung have done

Not saying the story isn’t dogshit…but I feel like it must be so exhausting concerning yourself with what other people read? Why keep coming back to something you hate and put yourself in a bad mood when you can seek out something you actually like and enjoy yourself.

I mean you’re free to feel however you want, nobody’s saying otherwise (obviously). As I said before though, it seems exhausting and honestly a little counterintuitive to keep coming back to the source itself where people are obviously going to be reading said material (esp with OPs comment saying “don’t bother arguing”). And I’m genuinely curious why people are always coming back to jinx to complain bcs it really doesn’t do anything except make the person commenting unhappy. But hey free world right? youre still assuming this is about being unhappy or exhausted, when that wasnt the point of the original comment or was even mentioned! they were criticizing how abuse and sexual assault are brushed off or justified in the story and by parts of the fandom. that’s not “dwelling” it’s quite literally media criticism? people talk about jinx ALL THE TIME because it’s popular and widely discussed, not because they enjoy being "mad" and saying “just disengage” doesn’t actually address the concern it just avoids it. you can enjoy the comic if you want (obviously), but others are allowed to call out harmful writing choices, ESPECIALLlY when trauma is glossed over like it never matteredd..
