I like dark-haired men so I'm totally biased but my personal preference aside, I think Dohyun is good-looking at least to other characters in WH. He was popular with the girls in high school after all.
Yes Dohyun is very Handsome/Beautiful . . . he's extremely physically attractive in my opinion and also in his universe but he just does not have the mentality of an attractive person. The men that surround Dohyun have either wanted to be with him or get rid of him. Dohyun on the other hand does not have the skills to take advantage of his attractiveness and that is why he ended up here.
He kinda falls into the "So Beautiful, It's a Curse" trope.
Here are some physical traits that make Dohyun attractive:
1. He's tall, 2. He is healthy Lean, 3. Silky black hair, 4. Big Almond shape eyes, 5. Clean clear complexion, 6. Both Men and Women have fallen for him. 7. He also has a really nice BUTT. (I am looking at you chapter 12.5!)
I don't think Dohyun's beauty is the kind that will pass for a girl. To me his beauty is the kind where you would chose him over a girl, not chose him because he looks like a girl. Everyone still knows he's a guy, (His hair is conservatively short, no long eye lashes, or thick pouting lips.) - Just my thoughts.

I totally agree with you!!! I saw that banner and I was like, I got to see more of this. I am not picky when it come to BL art but it sure helps when they look good and he was just perfect. - Not girly looking but not too Macho either.
I think he is pretty too,the way Whale draws him,but i meant in the story universe xD cause hat guy and Joseph are drawn nicely too,are they supposed to be pretty in the story as well? Heck all the main characters are drawn nicely,Sungho also.
I would even say that i prefer Sungho's looks more than Dohyun's,mainly i guess because i just prefer the rough looking ones more than the pretty ones lol.

This is totally unrelated, but i wonder about that almond shaped eyes thing though,i wonder if its considered a beautiful feature in asian countries.am saying this because i remember reading a manga called "aitsu no daihonmei" where the uke is supposed to be ugly,and when other made fun of his looks,they all made fun of his almond shaped eyes like it was a bad thing,so that confused me xD
Dohyun is definitely not supposed to be ugly in the manhwa though,i know that lol,he is a good looking dude.
I just checked out the manga you mentioned and I think the problem with the uke isn't his eye shape but the size. He got tiny eyes. Big eyes and full lips are attractive in nearly all cultures and Dohyun got these big eyes.
lol you're right. Money is attractive. Dohyun was poor his entire life and he acted like a poor person. At the point when he was kidnapped, he was working two jobs and still broke AF. The Imugi Dohyun was considered beautiful because he glammed up his appearance with jewelry and nice clothes.
One thing I notice is that Dohyun looks almost the same as his high school self. In my experience, most men change a lot once they become adults (not always for the worse). Let's say, if Dohyun grew up and became an ugly dude, do you think Sungho still did all the perverted things to him?

I know what you mean about them all being drawn nicely. When I first saw Hat guy I thought he looked a lot like Dohyun but you have to look at the small details. My experience with artistes is that sometime when they draw the characters over and over again . . . they all start to kinda share similar styles so you have to look to the small details to tell weather one character is to be consider pretty in-universe or plane or ugly. Sometimes it's not always easy and might come down to personal taste which is totally fine.

About guys changing when they grow up . . . you are right. Men start maturing letter then women not even fully maturing until into their mid 20s sometimes.
Asian men don't have facial hair for the most part, only sparse stubble here and there. Their faces don't go through large bone structure changes either. You will not find a square jaw on most Asian men. The only thing that really changes for the most part is their height and possibly if they gain or lose a bunch of weight.
The one who went through a miraculous change is Sungho. He was so cute as a kid.

But if Dohyun was hit with an ugly bus after high school, I think Sungho would still have feelings for him. Maybe he might not want to seek the same kind of revenge if he noticed that Dohyun has changed but I think he would still have strong feelings towards him. Sungho is the type of guy who gives without expecting to receive.
I am sure that Dohyun being attractive is a big pulse for Sungho but his affections for Dohyun go beyond that. (9 years or 15 years in AU) Also I think one of the main reasons Sungho is seeking revenge is because Dohyun has not changed at all. He is still the same kind of terrible personality.

lololol for some strange reason,i think he would still do all these perverted things to Dohyun,even if he grew up to be ugly.i think Sungho's obsession with him is far beyond his looks,but his looks might help to turn him on.i really dont know with Sungho,his mind is fucked up,i dont get him.it would help if we get a few chapters in the future from his POV.
